How does coaching work?
Generally, personal coaching is done over the phone once a week in
45-minute sessions, three times per month. There is also a start up, two-hour Intake Session which takes place over the phone and may be negotiated in person, depending on the cities in which the coach and the client live.
In the initial Intake Session, we design what you want to have happen in your life and align our partnership in a way that creatively and comfortably supports YOUR unique needs and personal style. The most important element of this two-hour session is to build a foundation of trust together upon which openness and honesty can unfold over time in service of your desired outcomes!
How do I get started?
It’s easy! Call us at 303-664-1077 or send an email to colleen_miller@comcast.net and we’ll talk about designing a partnership that works for you. We will schedule a two-hour Intake session after which time we will calendar a weekly appointment to suit your schedule.
What is a typical coaching session like?
Often, after a game, an athletic coach will go back to the locker-room and go over the game results with the team. They’ll be looking together at what worked, what didn’t, what they will do differently in the future, blind spots that kept them from making the right plays, discussing skills that need to be developed, brainstorming other options, identifying risks that need to be taken and challenges that need to be stepped into. The format is the same for this 45-minute session. The two most powerful elements of coaching are about you, the client, creating a constant awareness & continued responsibility for choosing your next step and taking actions that generate the results you want!
How much does coaching cost?
We can design a plan that works for you.
When would I want to hire a coach?
- When you're stuck and feel there is no solution to your challenges
- When you’re ready to have it all
- When you’re ready to move up to the next level
- When you want to develop areas of interest and expertise
- When you’re ready to choose your life rather than having life choose you
- When your life is out of balance
- When you’re too busy to take time out to be coached
- When you want added intimacy and improved relational skills
- If you know you’re ready to be fully self-expressed; living out of your values and stepping into your full potential
- When you’re not having fun, doing what you love and realizing the results you want

How does coaching differ from therapy?
Therapy is about reviewing the past and coaching is about creating your future! We have all been exposed to a limiting history, one in which we had grand invitations to give away our lives and our personal power to someone outside ourselves. The coaching process is actually about owning your life powerfully through choice.
